AMED TIMES - Speaking to the provincial leaders of his party, Erbakan commented on the agenda in Turkey and the world. He expressed his condolences to the family of Hamas politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed in an assassination attempt in Iran on 31 July, and called for the closure of the Kürecik radar station in Malatya.
Social media are under Zionist control
Erbakan defended the blocking of Instagram by the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK) and claimed that social media platforms were under the control of Zionism. He explained: “As we have always said, these social media platforms are unfortunately under the control of Zionism. Of course no animal should die, but while they talk about human rights and even animal rights, they make a huge fuss over the death of a whale or a dolphin, while hundreds of thousands of women, children, elderly and disabled people are massacred. If anyone stands up against this, they resort to restrictions. We need to build our own social media platforms, just like our banking and financial systems.”
