AMED TIMES - The Medical Association released a statement on its social media account.
The statement, which was published in both Kurdish and Turkish, reads: “The removal of the Kurdish traffic warning signs is unacceptable.”
The Diyarbakır Medical Association's statement reads as follows:
“At a time when we advocate ‘health in the mother tongue', the removal of Kurdish traffic warning signs that facilitate daily life is unacceptable. We reject the oppressive practises against our colleagues who express their opinions on this issue and against all people in general. The barriers in front of the Kurdish language must be removed in all areas of life and the investigations against people’s freedom of expression must come to an end.”
