AMED TIMES - The sporting promotion of Amed to the Trendyol 1st League was celebrated with the participation of thousands of fans at the presentation of the trophy at Diyarbakır Stadium. The championship trophy was brought to the grave of Amedspor captain Şehmus Özer, who died in a traffic accident on 19 December 2016.
The Amedspor delegation, consisting of former and current players, travelled to the Ergani district. Accompanied by numerous fans in private vehicles, the delegation visited the cemetery in Ergani. There were emotional moments when the trophy was brought to the grave of Şehmus Özer. The footballers gathered with Şehmus Özer's siblings and family. Fatiha and prayers were recited together at the cemetery.
