AMED TIMES - In previous seasons, tensions that began on social media between Şanlıurfaspor and Amedspor fans had spilled onto the field.
To end this tension, Şanlıurfaspor and Amedspor fans had conveyed messages of unity and solidarity last season. Before the new season, Şanlıurfaspor fan groups met with Amedspor fan groups on Sunday, August 4, to release a press statement.
A statement from Amedspor Barikat group's X account read:
"Today, Amedspor and Şanlıurfaspor fans came together in Urfa. As a result of the consultations we have had since the previous season, we have taken the first steps with the intention of overcoming the negative aspects that had arisen between us."
